Oltech Systems Ltd. was established in 1991 as an independently Irish owned Company principally to distribute and provide warranty support services for Olivetti branded print output equipment in Ireland.
By 1998 Oltech had built a strong end user based, had established a nationwide Authorised Dealer Network and was the largest supplier of inkjet fax products to the Irish market, operating as authorised distributors of both Philips and Olivetti. In 1999 Oltech was appointed Ireland's only authorised distributor and warranty provider for Samsung Office Products in Ireland.
Oltech currently has an end-user-dependent base of approximately 5,000 copier/network printer users and 50,000 fax and laser printer users. Oltech has a long established and well organised service department catering for local support and nationwide warranty services for some of the most prestigious brands in the world.
Oltech continues to be wholly Irish owned and employs 25 full time staff at its headquarters in Ballymount, Dublin.
Oltech, Events, Major Contracts and Awards
Oltech has, over the years, established an unblemished reputation for large tenders, as well as ad hoc and emergency support services for network systems, copiers, fax and printers.
Oltech was the sole successful tenderer to provide over 500 printers, copiers and faxes to the Government during the EU presidency. Oltech supplied €750,000.00 of equipment to over 100 locations nationwide during the seven month period of the presidency in 2004, providing 24-hour on-site support.
Oltech was selected as sole supplier of printing and copying equipment to RYDER CUP 2006, which involved to supply and 24 hour on-site support of 200 systems for a four week period.
Oltech was selected as sole supplier of all I.T. equipment to THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS in both 2003 and 2005
Oltech is sole I.T. supplier to The Irish Open, Smurfit European Open and Seve Trophy.
Oltech is contracted to THE MTV EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS annually since 1998 to provide mobile I.T. and site office facilities in 10 European Capitals.
Oltech is the ONLY IRISH COMPANY ever to win a BRITISH BUSINESS EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY AWARD in London in 2004 in the category 'Mission Critical Achieved – Services to Public Service.
Oltech has won substantial tenders with, among others, House of the Oireachtas (280 systems), Dept. of Social and Family Affairs (200 systems), Eircom (over 1000 systems), Dept. of Agriculture.
